In July 28, 29, and 30, 2014, BIBAK San Diego invited hundreds of brothers and sisters of the Igorot collective from around the world to gather in sunny San Diego for their 2nd Grand Canao.
A welcome dinner was held at St. Matthew's Episcopal church in National City for food and dancing, where tunes of the local artists was played for the guests who came that week.
The main Gala event in Town and Country Hotel was held the next day on the 29th, where BIBAK San Diego performed the dances from the different provinces, with over 700 guests in attendance.
A lunch was held the next day at the park where more music, food and dance was enjoyed before the numerous guests left town.
BIBAK San Diego was happy to have everyone at the event and hope everyone had a good time. Thanks again to those who were there with us and who helped make the SD canao happen. May you be happy and well, and hope to meet you again next time.
